Plans and billing
Plan prices and caps, what counts toward your limit, and how billing works.
On this page
Every UPINOW plan has 0% transaction fee: whatever a customer pays goes straight to your own bank account, and UPINOW never takes a cut. This page explains what each plan costs, what counts toward your monthly limit, and how buying a plan works.

What counts toward your limit
Your monthly cap counts the amount of orders that became paid in the current calendar month, in IST. It does not count the extra paise added to make each amount unique, expired orders, or your own UPINOW subscription payment. The counter resets on the 1st of the month, IST.
Getting close to your limit
At 80% of your cap, you see a banner in the dashboard and get one email that month. When you reach the cap, the dashboard, the API and the embedded widget all stop creating new links; links you already shared keep confirming payments as normal. Upgrading to a higher plan is the way to keep creating new links.
Buying, upgrading and renewing
Only the business owner can buy or change a plan. You pay UPINOW by UPI from any UPI app, the same way your customers pay you: no cards and no auto-debit. When your payment is confirmed, you see "Payment received. Switching on your plan..." and your plan turns on right away.
A monthly cycle runs 30 days and a yearly cycle runs 365 days. Moving up to a higher plan takes effect immediately, and the value of the time left on your current plan is converted into extra days on the new one. You cannot move down to a lower plan while your current plan is live; that option becomes available once it ends. You can switch from monthly to yearly billing at any time.
If paid plans are not open yet for your account, Billing tells you so and you keep collecting on your current plan in the meantime.
Reminders, grace and what happens if you do not renew
You get a reminder email 5 days and again 1 day before your plan ends. If it is not renewed, you get 3 days of grace on the same plan, and then your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted when you move to Free: your longer paid-plan history is kept for 12 months before it drops to Free's 30 days, and any unused days on a plan that is not renewed are not refunded. Read the full Refund policy.
Downgrading with more than one UPI account
Each plan includes a limit on how many UPI accounts you can have on at once: Free 1, Dukaan 2, Business 5, Pro 10, Custom up to 100 (see Your UPI ID). If you move to a plan with a smaller limit than the number of UPI accounts you have, the extra ones are paused automatically, starting with the newest, non-default accounts first; your default account is never paused. A paused account keeps its Gmail connected and keeps confirming any link you already shared; it just cannot be used to create a new link until you upgrade, remove an account, or make it your default. Nothing is ever disconnected or removed by a downgrade.
Invoices
Every payment gets an invoice on Billing as a PDF, numbered like INV-2627-000001, plus an invoice email and a "plan active" email. If your business has a GSTIN on file, it is printed on your invoice. The invoice is titled "Tax invoice" only when UPINOW charges GST on that payment, and "Invoice" otherwise.
If a billing payment goes wrong
If a payment to UPINOW itself does not go through cleanly, contact support (see Contact us for the address) and describe what happened. See the Refund policy for what happens to a duplicate or wrong-amount payment.
